Its not even finished yet and it is awesome. One of the things not shown off in the trailer is the weapons upgrade system. You can upgrade your weapons and add a ton of new abilities, and so far, all the ones I've seen, have a cool new animation to go along with them! Unfortunitally the ability to upgrade your character appears to not yet be implimented, but when it is, it will add even better RPG elements to this game. Do not let the bright colors full you, Putrefaction 2 is a dark game, in many ways every bit as dark as the first one, and it certianly rivels the original when it comes to blood and gore! It is fun, and awesome. I really hope they finish this game soon so I can beat it, and find out how the story ends. Its a great arcade style first person Shooter, especially for the price. Hopefully it won't go up too much in price when its no longer in early access. Even without being finished, it surpasses the first Putrefaction. Its not as creepy so far, but its just as violent, and gruesome!Oh and one more thing, I didn't realize this at first, but there is a malee attack button, that you can use if you're low on ammunition, however it switches your gun back to the pistal, so keep that in mind.. This cheap indie game uses simple but sufficient graphics. It lacks common fps options like sprint, reload, duck and scoped alternative fire. The game starts pretty good with smooth and satisfying combat. After the first levels the bad things kick in with platform sections, bullet sponge enemies and difficult tedious boss fights. The game play becomes a chore and no fun at all. I gave up at the ridiculous difficult end boss. Pity since the beginning was quite promising.4\/10. It's very cheap so you can take a swing at it.. Didn't like Jim Sterling destroy this game before?. Haven't played the first one, didn't know there was one until I bought this second one and was waiting for it.. ...The Game seems amazing, I was not expecting the intro to be like it was(AWesome).. It's short, it's buggy, but it is fun.Pros:+demo highlights EVERYTHING you need to know about the game+You can climb the background mountains and weird terrain to get incredible vantage points and occasionally jump over sections of open levels+character and weapon upgrades were unnecessary and kind of encouraged the creator+gun wielding enemies shoot projectiles instead of hitscan+a few open arena areas that facilitate full movement with a bit of verticality (kind of like some doom 2016 sections)+enemies occasionally drop health and ammo (maybe dependent on health like doom 2016?)+when weapons are almost fully upgraded and energy modes are utilized, enemies die quicklyCons:-nazi enemies are bullet sponges upon first meeting-lack of variety in enemies until later in the game-only 8 levels-passageway in 3rd level is too hidden to be found by the player (it holds the green rune and is next to the entrance of the altar room)-level 4 is way too open and is only tolerable after fully upgrading speed and climbing the mountains-bland visuals, increasing graphics options doesn't help-VERY poorly unoptimized (lower down to lowest settings in order to get best performance)-haste infusion is only useful against the first boss who is immune to fire and stun. I got this on sale for 0.49 it was worth it. Need to admit, didn't have high hopes for this game. Aftert playing this game for awhile it really grew on me, killing nazis is awesome fun.. Putrefaction 2 : Void Walker is a fps designed to thrill you in the old 90's way. This game has a lot of potential and originallity . The story begins with the protagonist starting in a strange and alien World, where his only mission is to save the World possesed by demons.The game has a not so smooth graphics or music, but the action in itself is worthed. The game has five levels at the moment, all of whom are very good yet developing. The game is however far from being incomplete (even though it is in early access). However if this game needs fixing it is only because of the bugs that come with it.The gameplay is vivid taking place in an imaginery universe which is simmilar to many other games. There are many pros and cons to this game, but to name a few:-+Its still in the developing phase, (this is both a positive and negetive) So the game has the chance to improve on its core gameplay.+Has the same feel of 90's action games.+Easy on the pockets+ Has very good mechanics_ The game has rough graphics and sound is not too good too_The game has a few bugs which is sad given the beauty of this gameAll in all the game has more positives than negetives making it a worthy successor to the sequel, definitely a must have for any action game fan. 6/10 is what i can give this game at this current stage.. Good old shooter, but for me it is unplayable because of lot of stuttering. My sistem win10, 8giga ram, gtx1060, fx8350. After enabling win7 compatibility for this game, stutter has gone away!Aaaaaand stutering is back again.. Pretty good arcade shooter game in a doom like run and gun down everything you see style, well worth playing if you have the money, even more so if it's on sale. Made in Unity engine so expect stability with a little questionable physics (such as hard to melee people as you can walk through them) though overally very well executed from the graphics, to gameplay, to good old fashion fun.
